Is It A Goodbye? Maybe, Maybe Not

Hello to my dear fellows, As you can see from the title of my post, this may be my last post. Or not. I don't know. Maybe, it is just a break.  As you all know I write in this blog because it is a requirement of the Material Design course I take this year. I am supposed to tell you about the tools we have learned to create materials and what I have gone through while using them.  When I first heard this from our teacher Dr Gökçe Kurt Tiftik, it seemed like it would be tiring. But it was not like that at all. Writing here, talking with you, introducing all those tools with my own words... All of them was a great way to learn using those tools. I must say it also develops my English quite a lot. You know my first language is Turkish. ALSO, another plus point is that I feel like an up-to-date person who uses technology while keeping this blog. So we use technology while learning how to use technology to create materials. Isn't it amazing? Sometimes graduating and being a teacher s

My Digital Storytelling Project

Hello my dear fellows!

Today, I have come to give information about something I've first tried and something really hard to do.
It's called digital storytelling. When I first heard it from my teacher, I thought like, "It's a piece of cake for me,". However, at the end, I can tell you wholeheartedly that it's not.

As the name suggests, digital storytelling is a stroytelling which is done with using technology. By the way, it's a video.

Here's a beautiful representatin of it:

For the source of it, click here!

For this project, our teacher has given us three options to make: PSAs, creating a how-to story and creating a fictional story.
I and my two friends, Rabia Tuğlu and Bilge Yengel, have chosen PSAs. PSA stands for Public Service Announcement. They're made to provide information to public and are generally short.

Before we started to make the video, first we, I and my friends, have met and talked what kind of issue we should handle. After spending some time on it, we've decided to do "plastic pollution" which is a real problem around the world as well as in our country. Then we have written a script and planned what we should film for it.

It was easy until here. When it came to edit the films and the sounds we recorded, we really had the diffuculty. Even finding an application for it was hard.

However, the result was satisfying for me. I don't know if you'll like it. Let me show it to you:

Please watch it with knowing that it was our first experience doing something like it.

Thank you for reading my dear fellows, it was all for today!
Please don't forget to leave your comments below and wait for another post.
Love you all!
