Is It A Goodbye? Maybe, Maybe Not

Image
Hello to my dear fellows, As you can see from the title of my post, this may be my last post. Or not. I don't know. Maybe, it is just a break.  As you all know I write in this blog because it is a requirement of the Material Design course I take this year. I am supposed to tell you about the tools we have learned to create materials and what I have gone through while using them.  When I first heard this from our teacher Dr Gökçe Kurt Tiftik, it seemed like it would be tiring. But it was not like that at all. Writing here, talking with you, introducing all those tools with my own words... All of them was a great way to learn using those tools. I must say it also develops my English quite a lot. You know my first language is Turkish. ALSO, another plus point is that I feel like an up-to-date person who uses technology while keeping this blog. So we use technology while learning how to use technology to create materials. Isn't it amazing? Sometimes graduating and being a teacher ...

The Colorful Way of Learning: Padlets!

Hello my dear fellows,

Today, I want to talk about a wall board which is called "padlet". Padlet can be used by multiple users and these users can write their ideas about a specific topic on this wall. Also users of the wall can put images, videos and links related to their topic.

Here is the logo of the wall board:

Our teacher has wanted us to make a wall on padlet in groups. So I thought like why not share this experience with you.

First let me introduce you my friends in group: Rabia TUĞLU and Bilge YENGEL.
Before we start to make our padlet, we have chosen the topic out of several topics given by our teacher.

Our topic is "air pollution" which is as you all know a huge problem and it will continue to be so if necessary measures isn't taken.

In the wall, we have created three columns and we have named these as WHAT WE KNOW, WHAT TO KNOW and WHAT WE LEARNED respectively. In first column, we have been wanted to write what do we know about the air pollution; in the second one, we have written what do we want to know about it and in the last one we have written the answers to questions in the second column.

Here is the fruit of our labor!

In my opinion, it was really beneficial and will continue to be so. To find answers to questions we have read articles, we have learned how to use a padlet and we have learned so many things about air pollution. I'm a hundred percent sure that I will use this wall board in the future with my students.

My dear fellows, it was all for today.
Thank you for reading and hope to see you in my next post and also in the below comments section.
