Hello to you my dear fellows, Now it is time to share my handout with you. If you remember I have spoken of it in my last post and said that I would use a corpus while preparing my handout.  Here is the fruit of my labour: I have prepared this with my partner, Rabia Tuğlu . "Was the process of preparing this hard," you will ask. Yes, it was hard at the beginning. Because it was my first time preparing a handout using corpora.  Then you will ask what corpora is. It is actually "are" because corpora are the plural of the corpus. And a corpus is basically a sea of information that can be used for anything. There are all types of written texts. (Do you know that when preparing a dictionary, people use corpora? I did not know this.)  We, as teachers, use corpora to prepare language awareness tasks. Greetings my readers who are small in number and get my love in much bigger portions, I hope you did not forget who I am or what this blog is about. Well on the other side it is totally normal that you forget about me because I was absent for a long time after I wrote my "farewell post". That is why let me remind you of what I was doing in my old days for you and for the newcomers (I hope there will be :') ). My dear fellows, Today is that day which I know that it will come but not waiting it to be this quick. I have opened this blog as our teacher Gökçe Kurt wanted from us as a task to do for the whole term. At first, I was really feeling insecure about doing such a thing. Because I ‘ve never had an experience like this. But now I realized that I shouldn’t have felt like that. As you know my dear fellows, I’ve wrote anything I’ve learned in the classroom in here. Hello my dear fellows! It's me again today. I realized that I didn't talk to you about the infographic I've done. We're assigned to do an infographic by our teacher, also.  Infographic is a visual representation of information which can be about anything. And our teacher wants it to be about Web 2.0 Tools which we have been learning in this class throughout the whole semester.  We're wanted to choose three tools and I've chosen Blogspot, Wiki and Storybird. Actually, doing an infographic was harder than doing a movie poster. Hello my dear fellows! Today, I'm going to talk about an experience of mine which is really enjoyable for me. It's making a movie poster as you can understand it from the title of the post. It's given by our teacher as a homework. We're assigned to do a movie poster of book we have read. Since I love both reading books and watching movies, I've done this homework with pleasure. I've chosen The Stranger by Albert Camus as the book. Then I've found the site which I will use to create my movie poster and I created it. Hello my dear fellows! Today, I have come to give information about something I've first tried and something really hard to do. It's called digital storytelling. When I first heard it from my teacher, I thought like, "It's a piece of cake for me,". However, at the end, I can tell you wholeheartedly that it's not. Hello my dear fellows, Today, I want to talk about a wall board which is called "padlet" . Padlet can be used by multiple users and these users can write their ideas about a specific topic on this wall. Also users of the wall can put images, videos and links related to their topic.
